"Gold Storage increases your Gold storage capacity."
Gold is an extremely important resource. You use gold to upgrade troops, Gunboats and Mines. You use Gold to explore the Archipelago, training troops, Submarine dives and to attack. If your Gold storage is destroyed by your enemy you do not have to worry about losing gold. The only way resources can be taken is if they destroy your HQ.
